If a veteran has a rental property that was a conventional loan and he’s getting a rental income into his bank account but its not on his tax returns and he is a tax exempt disabled Vet..income not on tax return so can’t he use that income to ofset the mortgage payment on that conventional loan when currently trying to apply on va loan?

We likely can not use the rental income on a VA loan but we may be able to use on another program but will likely require a down payment with higher rate. His VA disability income is not taxable but his rental income is, he should have claimed this rental income by filing on tax returns.
