The Warrior Benefit’s core committee consists of Soldiers and Marines wounded after 9/11 and Gold Star parents. This core group hosts sporting events in Texas in order to build camaraderie between post 9/11 combat wounded veterans and demonstrate to those still recovering from physical and emotional injuries that there is a good and purposeful life after service to their country.
The Warrior Benefit is a unique organization which benefits our nation’s wounded warriors, and is led by our nation’s wounded warriors. Donating to our organization directly impacts those who have sacrificed greatly in service of the United States of America.
Those warriors returning from combat with severe trauma have challenges and costs that most Americans cannot fathom. And in turn, their needs, as well as the needs of their families, are great. Funds raised through donation campaigns, sporting clay shoots, and other events are used to support wounded warriors’ medical costs, physical therapy, living expenses, and often in assisting them in returning to work in the private sector.
